Thankfully, the rain held off for Haleigh and Francis at the Overbrook House in Bourne, MA this weekend. Our Tessera Quartet was honored to play for their ceremony on the great lawn.

Appropriately named, this stunning venue features a stone walkway over a brook that runs throughout the property. Picture a classic Cape resort mixed with whimsical fairy magic- that’s Overbrook in a nutshell!

The ceremony was officiated by the bride’s childhood friend who injected the perfect amount of humor and sentimental stories, and the couple’s heartfelt vows left not a dry eye in the house.

The ceremony music included special requests from the bride and groom- the bridal party (including the couple’s adorable pup Rosie!) walked down to The Postal Service’s “Such Great Heights”, followed by the bride, who walked down to Taylor Swift’s “Daylight”. Their recessional was the joyous and jazzy “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” by Stevie Wonder.

We loved the personal touches that went into every aspect of their ceremony, like the handmade welcome sign, the bug spray that encouraged guests to be “smitten, not bitten”, and the romantic fairy lights leading to the reception site.
